Features

DISPLAY
The Zoll Plus has a small screen above its battery compartment on the front of the unit. Accompanied by the shock button and soft key options for the screen. You will also find the electrode connector, IrDA port, and USB port on the front of the AED. While in rescue mode the screen will display elapsed time, ECG size and rhythm, heart rate, as well as a chest compression depth gauge.

CPR Feedback
ECG monitoring, and CPR monitoring of patients. The CPR monitoring function provides a metronome designed to encourage rescuers to perform chest compressions at the AHA/ERC recommended rate of 100 compressions per minute. Voice and visual prompts encourage a compression depth of at least 2 inches (5 cm) for adult patients.

A Personal Coach at Your Side
Real CPR Help provides real-time feedback for the depth and rate of chest compressions during CPR.  A sensor in the pads that attach to the patient lets the AED see each chest compression and lets you know how you’re doing. It guides you, with prompts and a real-time bar gauge, to the recommended depth and rate of compressions

ACTIVE STATUS INDICATOR
The Ready indicator found on the front of the unit shows the status based on the latest self-test. The illuminated GREEN check mark indicates the unit passed its last self-test and is ready for use.  Illuminated RED “X” indicates the unit has failed its self-test and is not ready for use.

BATTERY LIFE
Rechargeable PD 4410-series battery packs- Charge time is 4 hours or less with the Zoll charge stations. The standby life is 3 months before recharge or retest. A new, fully charged battery pack is good for 170 defibrillator discharges at 200J or 6 hours of continuous monitoring. (8004-0104-01). Disposable sealed lithium manganese dioxide battery packs- A new, fully charged battery pack is good for 300 defibrillator discharges at 200J or 15 hours of continuous monitoring. It has a standby life of 5 years. (8000-0860-01). SurePower rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack- Charge time is 4 hours or less with the Zoll charge stations. The standby life is 3 months before recharge or retest. A new, fully charged battery pack is good for 400 shocks at 200J or 19 hours of continuous monitoring. (8019-0535-01)

DESIGNED FOR THE REAL WORLD
This device is protected against interference from radio frequency emissions typical of the two-way radios and cellular phones (digital and analog) used in emergency service or public safety activities. The Zoll Pro also has escalating joules of 120-150-200 for adults and 50-70-85 for children.

AWARD WINNING DESIGN
See-Thru CPR filters out compression artifact (“noise”) so you can see the patient’s underlying cardiac rhythm (ECG) while performing CPR. Pauses are inevitable, but reducing the amount of time without compressions results in a higher chest compression fraction (CCF), the proportion of time spent delivering compressions during CPR. A higher CCF predicts better survival to discharge in patients who experience out-of-hospital cardiac arrest.

RUGGED AND DURABLE
IP55 rating that withstands heat, rain, cold, and wind, passing a 1.5-meter drop test to withstand all drops and tumbles.

READILY RECORDED DATA
The stored information can be transferred to a remote device (such as a computer) through a USB device or an IrDA (infrared wireless) connection. The clinical data format is compatible with ZOLL RescueNet Code Review software, which can be used to review and analyze patient data. When installed and enabled, the Audio Recording Option allows the AED Pro unit to record up to 20 minutes of continuous audio and clinical event data during a rescue. The AED Pro unit can record and store at least 5.8 hours of ECG and CPR data when the Audio Recording Option is disabled.

SAFE AND EFFECTIVE LIFE-SAVING TECHNOLOGY
ZOLL Administration Software (ZAS): Allows users to manually adjust the configuration of the AED Pro to the desired medical protocol or direction. Analyze OPTIONS: The user can configure the ability to analyze a patient during the CPR period by depressing a softkey. CPR Duration: The user can configure CPR duration from 30 seconds to indefinite, depending on the protocol. The user also can configure the AED Pro to “start with CPR”, which, when turned on, will prompt the rescuer to perform CPR before analyzing the patient. Voice Prompts: The user can adjust wording (limited options) and/or turn on/off particular voice prompts
